CELEBRATING INDUK’S OFFICIAL OPENING
Posted 26th July, 2010

24th July, 2010 marks the official opening of INDUK Taekwondo. Amidst the thundering drumbeats and clashing cymbals of the lion dance troupe, Mr. Yong Woo Kwon, Minister of the Korean Embassy, along with Mr. Lim Teong Chin, General Manager of the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) were ushered into the school. Amongst our guests, were also colleagues from the STF, Mr Steven Soh (1st Vice-President, STF) and Ms Wong Liang Ming (Hon. Secretary, STF). They were all treated to a robust lion dance performance.

The guests, many of whom were visiting the school for the first time, were impressed by its facilities and the spaciousness of the dojang. They found the school to be modern in its design, and yet functional in its purpose. Mr. Lim was full of praise of the school and summed the evening, “I like the club layout and the ambience. It is a fantastic place to set up a taekwondo club. Members will enjoy the facilities and benefit greatly from the high standard of instructions under the supervision of its Chief Instructor, Mr Lee Seung Man.”
